We believe that our campus personnel can play a fundamental
role in exposing students to marketable skills that today’s
job market is looking for in graduating students. Therefore,
we reached out to the campus looking for additional opportunities
that our students can gain real world experiences. We were
successful in placing twenty five students throughout the
campus in challenging and diverse professional opportunities.
The goals of the professional development opportunities are
to provide mentorship and support towards the development
and application of skills and strategies that are essential
for preparing students for the workforce. The students chosen
are in good academic standing and are fulfilling their expectations
of the program. They are required to work ten hours a week.
