In addition to the mid-semester and final
reports that are part of our New York State Education Department
requirements; we take our assessment a step further by administering
a satisfaction survey each semester. The questions are both
qualitative and quantitative and are related to the utilization
of staff members and overall effectiveness of the programs
and services. The responses are entered and analyzed in
SPSS (Statistical Package for the Social Sciences). By offering
the satisfaction surveys each semester, our goals are to
maintain a total quality management approach by altering
our programs/services that are more beneficial. Eventually
any long term longitudinal data collected can offer broader
insights.
